Yo, guys. I went to the three day advanced class put on by The Midwest School of bushcraft this weekend.
It was a great time and full of learning from Terry Barney (iawoodsman on here). That guy is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to how to survival and be comfortable in the woods. Guys like me can benefit from his years of experience by taking a class like this. He's got pretty much everything down to a system when it comes to anything woods related. All I have to do is pay attention.
Hope you like the vid.

p.s. I am in no way affiliated with mwsb or do I receive any compensation (except a hard time from Terry) for doing vids like this. I just think he's a great teacher and I know you guys like this sort of thing as much as I do.

Well looks like everyone had a good time and hopefully learned alot. But Iz you know this is a knife forum right! Wheres the knife porn man? What was everyone carrying? Did you take a Green River or a Gasconade?

The Turleys were representing this weekend. PSKs, Green River, Z sere, MO river, Solder River.....

It was a great time. We all had a blast. Great group of guys.

Oh, I'm jealous as all get out. Bush time and Turley Knives, a little iawoodsman training, sounds like a great time. I hate I missed it, but the vid is cool, I like the new intros, you should do a theme intro based on the content Iz. I'm a CCR fan, and I wanna c'mon down ta Green River. I just want to be holdin' one when I go. I like the "titan" intro you got kickin' now also. All the way, good stuffe, Iz.

PS, ya'll wasn't spoonin' in that shelter, were ya? :D

There was some strange noises coming from that shelter during the night...... :D

I carried my Gunny, but im sure when my number is called for my Turley it will see alot of dirt time. I did have my PSK though. Those things are rad.

The hillbilly hilton required no spooning. As it was damn warm.

I carried my Turley PSK, as well as 12" Onterio Machete, DP Knives Campmaster, my WSS Giveaway knife, and my now broken SAK Farmer.

But I can tell you Turley knives were there in force. Several Soldier Rivers, Boone Branches, the Missouri, Z Sere, Gascoande, and the Green River. Which by the way rocks! And isn't as big as it looks in photos.

Heh. You know it, I carried the Green River test knife. I dig it, just wish I would have made the handle slightly fatter at the swell. I've been getting handles a little to thin recently. It's time to take a deep breath and back off some. A slight adjustment and I'll be good to go.
I didn't get any pics of the knives there this weekend.:grumpy: I had planned on it but I was so busy that I didn't get it done. Terry's a slave driver.

The Hilton was awesome, man. If something keeps me warm it will sweat most everyone else out. Except Jclmd of course, he has icewater for blood.:D
See you in April, Lord willing!

Fun was had by all. :D:thumbup:

Yeah, it was a toad choker for a while there. I don't mind rain and I don't mind cold, I just don't like it when they mix. :grumpy:
One of the worst weather combinations there is imo.
