Well since I couldn't go to the Blade show this weekend I thought I'd work on my first knife for the USN show. I've been pretty sick so it was slow going but I finally got it done. Here's my first bolsterlock. I started off with a Blast frame and gave it an interesting blade shape. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

Very nice.
I don't think I have commented on one of yours here before, but have admired your work for a while prior to joining up here. I have a picture of a carbon fiber scaled and stonewashed flipper leaning on a commander length 1911 that you did in one of my shop books. Call it my knife porn stash if you will.
I like the old school echo of the scale to bolster ratio and appearance but the modern color, material and function of this one. Excellent fit and finish. Nicely done.

Sweet!

Ray, I like that you have both flipper and studs.

Can you do that on the small Jasmine?

Feel better soon!

the blast2 framelock flips different, the detent is less strong, you can flip it with thumbstud

I think you came out with a beautiful knife as always Ray, the blade shape is more than interesting.... actually it's very cool!
Every part blends perfectly, the LSCF inlay on the lock side makes the looks of the knife greatly balanced and also functions as an LBS to avoid to overextend the lock bar when unlocking, congratulations!

+1, Cheers.

P.S. If you ever sell the knife let me know. Id be more than willing and more than happy to buy it from you.

You remember how I said that I wanted to pickup a blast from you at G5 (facebook conversation), well that is definitely still the truth. And I Love this one. You are killing it Ray. I love these knives. I love the harpoon style swedge!

If you made one in the small Jasmine size (please ) I'd buy it in a second!!!! I LOVE that blade shape. Love that the handle narrows a bit. Love the coloring . . . . a homerun!

And, I WILL see you in Vegas! Cannot wait!!!!!

Fantastic looking knife! I'm sure this going to be a very hot seller. Any plans for a smaller version?

Great work, keep it up :)
