  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Need some good starter knives for my 15y.o. son

Mr Bensinger,

Note the spikes I made from 12" deer stand nails at Home depot laying on the table (R-F) in the picture above. Ground the heads down a bit and pushed the tube handles on from the front so they lie against what's heft of the head. Rounded the heads slightly too so one point won't hit the rear of another spike and damage it. A bit of shoe goo holds the tube grips firmly in place. And yes, about $2 each. Ground the tips trilobate shape copying roman archers arrow tips. They throw great!

How's your son's throwing going?
Well, he got roped into doing the sound for the school play, so his evenings have been monopolized by play rehearsal and homework. The play is in a couple weeks, so he'll be more free to practice (that and it's been too cold here except for this past week... when he's been in Nebraska on spring break).
