New knife I started around 2017 :-)

This kiritsuke style gyuto in thin 2mm 1070 steel and with jacarandá da Bahia handle slabs and copper pins was a project that I started around 2017 and found its way into the botton of a drawer until I came to my new home/shop and rescued it along with more than a few other projects in similar condition (I bet I am not the only maker who’s been through it!). It still took me one year and a half to figure out what to do with it but it is finally finished and I loved the vintage flair of this piece - it is even inspiring me to make other pieces with a similar design.
