Notification emails without content

Email notifications no longer include the post payload in the body. Is that an intentional change?

Another vote for please changing it back.

If the replies are the issue, can you change the sent from address on the email notifications to noreply@bladeforums.com or the like?

Please change back, probably 75% of my time is spent working at the hospital and I can’t load the website on their wifi. So the emails are essentially all I have, not being able to see description, pictures, or price makes it very difficult to know what posts I should interact with.

Email content a must please. I have emails set so I can quickly glance at the knife price and snatch it quick if it's a good deal! Now with every post I have to click the link and load into the page to see everything. Takes a lot more efforts with so many knives posted each day. Thanks!

We are paying, loyal, long time customers who just want the easier straight forward way we had to interact with the forum postings. It shouldn't be and I hope it's not viewed as bugging!

Is it possible to do what user kod suggested above and have the FROM email address be noreply@bladeforums.com. ? Both problems would be solved.

Your email config accepts mail for <anything>@bladeforums.com? I stopped doing that a long time ago, spammers were killing me.

You can use something like "noreply@nowhere.invalid", anything with '.invalid' is guaranteed to not exist (RFC 6761).

Hi Spark ,

It would be really nice to have the contents back. Not so much for threads, but for conversations, that I have to delete every so often. Email allows me to find old conversations, if the contents was included in the conversation email notifications.
