Ok - I think I'm ready to start an interest list.
NO MONEY REQUESTED AT THIS TIME.
This is just an interest list.
Once I have heat-treated blades and handle materials in stock, I will start an Official List and a 50% deposit will be required.
Between now and then I need to get a few things figured out like sheaths, materials, etc.
Here's what I've got so far:
Specs on the EDC:
Steels available = 3/16" thick CPM 3V, CPM154 (if I can get it), D2, HighPerf. Damascus (CPM154/CPM3V)
Handles avaialble = Synthetics only (Micarta, G10), 5/16" thick handles, contoured with palm swell.
Sheaths available = Kydex or Leather (same price)
Important note: EVERY KNIFE WILL COME WITH A SHEATH
I won't be selling these without a sheath - don't ask.
I will be making these in the following blade lengths:
3"
3.5"
4"
4.5"
5"
Pic of the 3.5" and 3" version in Natural and Black Canvas Micarta (respectively)
I will post pics of the 4" and 4.5" sizes as I get them finished.
Pricing is going to be
$200 for the 3"
$215 for 3.5"
$230 for 4"
$245 for 4.5"
$260 for 5"
and that DOES include the sheath. (again, mandatory!)
For CPM3V/CPM154 Damascus:
Add $200 for 3"
Add $220 for 3.5"
Add $240 for 4"
Add $260 for 4.5"
Add $280 for 5"
(I won't be doing a special run of this damascus yet....just showing pricing for those interested)
The First Run is going to be limited to 30 knives. I will be contacting people from the list below first...and then taking the first 30 deposits whomever they be.
At that point you can specify what blade length you are interested in. I will have multiples of each length on hand - which is the reason for the interest list. Let me know what sizes to cut more of !!
