Howdy all,
I have a Mossberg 835 for dedicated turkey hunting. I currently have fiber optic sights on it, green in back and red in front. However, the rear site occasionally drifts from side to side and I really need to keep an eye on it.

I have been thinking maybe a red-dot holographic sight of some sort may just be better. I have missed twice, but I think "turkey fever" was more to blame than my sights.

So, what do you have and recommend? Prices? Easy to self install, or is a gunsmith needed?

Thanks all in advance for your answers,
Mongo

Interesting. I have only turkey hunted once without seeing even one bird. It may be good to get an opinion from an honest gunsmith. He may give you some tips to get it right, or something to watch out for.

Red- dot. My Mossburg turkey gun came with the fiber optics that shot 6 inches high . No way to adjust them to lower the shot. Went to red dot and have shot up to 45 yards which is long for me right on the spot.
