Ordering Auto Knife Interstate ?

I have searched to no avail.

I was wanting to order a automatic opening knife but I see some requirements to review and agree to certain conditions ?

I am confused now.

I live in Texas and I am not Law Enforcement or Military.

Can I order a Auto Opening knife legally from a knife vendor that is not in Texas?

Legally? NO. They are not allowed to cross state lines as merchandise. Can't be sent via USPS. Seems like the law is broken all over but you asked if it is legal....Nope....
 
It is not a crime to place an order for a switchblade from an out of state seller. If the seller chooses to send you the knife, THEY are breaking the law (Federal Switchblade Act).

That being said, over the past 8 years I have ordered 19 switchblades online from vendors in other states, and they were all shipped through the US mail. Including 4 from Amazon, 3 that came all the way from China, and 2 from a current sponsor of Bladeforums.

And I've got 2 more on the way (delivery tomorrow), and they are coming from New York to California through the US mail. So when they arrive, that will make my total 21.

I order switchblades from out of state without giving it a single thought.
