Peddinghaus anvil... Cut in half... Interesting to say the least...

There are several good video on You Tube showing technicians using thermite to weld rail road rails together. This technique might work for the anvil.

Umm, Jim, this is a very old tread that has already been resurrected before. Also, thermite wouldn't be the thing to repair an anvil😨
