I recently purchased an older Pentagon with rosewood handle/brass fitting.
The number 135 is engraved in the brass bolster.
How many of this variation were produced?
Any ideas as to current value?
Thanks,
Tenbeers

Hi Tenbeers,

You've got a great knife there. One of 250, it was part of a series of four knives made in the early to mid-90's. The Government and Desert Dagger came with leather stacked handle, brass crossguard, and aluminum butt cap. The NW Ranger and Pentagon came with Cocobolo wood handles.

Only 250 were produced and MSRP was in the $130 range. These are truly collector's items, especially when in mint condition. Not being a collector of rare knives, I can't comment on their worth, but their appraised value would be something well above MSRP.

Hope this helps! I wish I had one!

Thanks Ron!
I thought the handle was rosewood based on the seller's info. From a user standpoint, the coco is even better. I saw this piece listed years ago, but had no idea it was this rare. A keeper for sure!
