We have around 30 +/- 4ish
Haven't counted in a while

The one I'm holding is presently broody, meaning her sole instinct is to lay on any eggs she finds to incubate them. Twice daily I pull her out of a nesting box and lob her out into the run so she flaps her wings and walks around some.

Broody hens flatten out like cold honey to maximize their egg coverage, and lose muscle tone and weight. Regularly removing these girls from their boxes breaks the broody spell a bit sooner.

I was scraping a chunk of poo off the back of a box with the UF2... excellent reach!
