Pocket clip coating

I have stripped the coating off of a couple of my knives pocket clips and got them all nice and shiny but I want to put a good durable coating on one of them because I think the clip looks better black.I was thinking about trying to put some type of truck bed coating not the smooth type but the one that looks like it has little pieces of plastic in it.Has anyone tried this with any success or maybe might have another suggestion?

Duracoat is a good option to look at.

Other then that, I'm not really sure. I prefer brushed clips on most of my knives.
