I know there have been a few. Does anybody know of any for the upcoming year?

I think one was called RABBIT STICK!?!

This goes with the idea of the PRIMITIVE PENTATHALON!!!!

Maybe some people can get to one!

I would be willing to set up a three day get together at my training site if there was enough commitment and I was able to cover my costs. We could set up stations where different skills could be discussed, taught, and learned... In addition, I would be willing to open up our ropes course for some fun adventure. We have three large fire circles with parachute covers and benches. It would be no problem for individuals to pitch tents on the 3rd deck of our 8 acres.

If there is enough interest, I may be willing to work on this idea. however, I am hesitant to put a lot of time into something that doesn't pan out.

Wow! Thanks!

The one I'm thinking of I believe, was put on by Larry Dean Olsen. I thought somebody here would know of one...Obviously, they aren't common!

I like your idea Greg! Keep it in mind and mention it to others, but I would imagine that it would have to be WAY down the road. To get enough interest, it may take a while.

Thanks!

I’d be willing to organize one, but as I live in a city not too far from LA, I might have to tweak the agenda.

Day One:

We all gather in a parking lot around tire fires and say our hellos. Then we disperse to collect various items, like Big Macs and Slurpees to survive off of. We then get back together, seize a house and drink beer.

Day Two:

We head to Disneyland. While there we stash supplies on Tom Sawyer’s Island. The survival exercise is to escape detection, and evade one of the most highly trained security forces in the world. Those that succeed meet back up at Tom Sawyer’s Island to spend the night drinking beer and eating marshmallows. We can also see how well our knives cut plastic trees.

Day Three:

Today the survivors bail out those that have been captured by “enemy forces”, where possible.
