Progress thread: Field/Small Camp

This is what I would consider a large field knife or a small Camp knife. Add a hatchet and you'd have the bases covered.

This may change as it moves along but here's the plan.

Coolio, is it just me as I am seeing a little Ed Fowler in the lines.

How is this one coming along? Do you see my point about being Fowler-esque? I say in Osage orange, no lanyard hole since only 6 inches long, and cannot decide on swedge. What about a wood handle with a micarta bolster or vice versa? I think some of that DI you got may look good on it.

I don't see the Fowler in it but I have a hard time seeing influences until after the fact sometimes.
