I've been looking at this knife for a while (http://www.bladehq.com/item--Kizer-Ning-Shoal-Frame-Lock-Knife--34544) and might be ready to pull the trigger on it. But there's one thing I can't figure out about the knife that would be make-or-break for me. I think the design of this knife and especially its handle is absolutely gorgeous. But the only video of it I can find is of KnifeCenter doing a flip demonstration. I wanted to know if anyone owns this knife and can confirm if the handle is the same blue with robust anodization like in the BladeHQ image of it, or if it really is as bland and purple-grey as the video.

There are two versions of this knife. The one you are looking at has the scales anodized and the other one, which I have has the hardware anodized. I bought mine on a flash sale at a deep discount. I find that very often the vendors do not match the sales photos with the product. For example, many do not show whether the knife is the newer version with the hardened steel insert and simply show the old versions. This video probably just shows a base model without the anodizing. Mine is the one shown here, and it looks the same: http://www.bladehq.com/item--Kizer-Ning-Shoal-Frame-Lock-Knife--32920

BladeHQ would possibly be willing to open the box and verify the knife inside.

I've seen a variation in anodizing over the various production batches. Sometimes the anodizing was very bright and strong, in another batch it was rather like in the video or even more subtle. So if you want to make sure what knife you're getting you need to check with the seller...
