I've got some really nice blocks of African Mahogany for sale. These are natural blocks. They do not require stabilizing. African Mahogany is hard and dense and quite stable. These blocks are many years dry and ready to use.

These have outstanding quilted/lace figure. This finishes out really nice making the pattern stand out even bolder. Very interesting grain between the criss-crossing rays and quilt figure. The pattern has a deep shimmer that changes as you move it in the light. Back sides have the same outstanding figure as the fronts, all the way through.

All of these blocks are nice large blocks, solid and defect free as far as I can tell.

Prices include free shipping to the US. Paypal preferred.

John, I"ll give #9 and #12 a go, don't use much wood, and never tried this variety, but it looks cool. Will you have more in the future or is this all?

Any finishing tips? Looks pretty open grained?

Sorry I edited and swapped #1 to #12

9 and 12 are available and yours if you want them. #1 sold 1 minute after I posted them.

Actually these are pretty close grained. Not much in open pores. A few coats of tru oil will be all that is necessary to seal and finish them. An oil finish will make these really exceptional handles.

Sounds good John, let me know where you want me to send payment.

After seeing these blocks I'm going to have to look for a board of similar material I have hidden away somewhere. I'd completely forgotten about it.
