It's been close to 18 months since you started this thread, how has the handle held up during this time?

You inspired me to try. I got this Carbon V Ventura Ca Trailmaster with some rust on the blade and a gnawed handle.

It is much better now with my leather and maple handle replacement.

Not a fan of "traditional" handles but that looks good, I hate it when people put a fat handle on a trailmaster. keep it slim like it was intended

I haven't used it as much as I would have like, but so far its held up just fine.
