I never even heard of Staglon until I started reading up on stuff earlier today. That was after I purchased this. lol.

It was just the trade name they chose to use for the stag molded Dupont Delrin. Same material as the Old Timer genuine sawcut Delrin with different molded texture and dye bath. I'm getting ready to post another early knife, 1966, described as genuine meerschaum bone. It was an early name for the sawcut dyed Delrin. Basically, regardless of names, it was a form of injection molded nylon.
