SOLD.........From the 'HUMP" Fire department (Wherever TH that is...) This is a beautiful old breaching axe that is in good condition. It is a beast! This probably rode somewhere on a fire truck for years....The head is stamped, as pictured. "HUMP F. D." as well as the handle stenciled the same. Unmarked as far as maker but probably a COLLINS as they were the dominant supplier in the past...Appears to have two brass wedges in eye to handle connection...It is solid. I touched up the edge to sharp!...If you are a Fire dept. collector, this is available now.

Hump has a . after it, like F . D . do. So maybe Humphries or something similar. Or it may actually be Hump.
