Getting customer photos is great. There's a variety of locations and photography styles and its also nice to see our blades out in the world and not just in the workshop. Reaffirms what you're doing and adds a human element to what for us is a very online customer relationship a lot of the time.
These photos stood out to us because of how clean and simple they were. Nice natural lighting, no edits- just showing off the fit and finish in a crisp way.
We're getting better at photographing our knives as time goes by and are developing a bit of a style while doing it. It's always great to see someone else's style though and the benefits it gives in displaying a knife.
