strange grind on microtech

I have a L-UDT with a production date of 7\96
opens like a rocket has no clip

the blade is unlike any i've seen!!

no false edge !

top of spine is flat!

rear of blade is flat! (like a chisel grind)

on the front of the blade(logo side) there is a single tapered belvel grind on the spine from the pivot to 1"from tip

anyone have info!

Heres what i learned,

I just got off the phone with George at Microtech he told me that Tony hand ground 30 of these knives and he only did them one time.
So this piece is even more rare than the clawed one that they made 100 of.

I'll take offers
