This is a modified design that Mark Williams was so kind to send me. I modified the pattern(which he wanted to watch the process) to fit what I make.

Blade is around 5.5" (I'll have to measure)
Anyway - light antiquing on this one

I am trying "internal" glue rivits around the "wing" on the handle.
Drilled grooves to act as rivits when the glue dries. We'll see how they work :)

MArk,
do you have a picture of KSS I?

The finish is cool...sort of artsy to make :)

The pic of knutsack 1 is on the hardrive of my old puter. This one makes it look like poop anyway. Now hurry up and finish that thang :)

I used bluing paste and chlorox. Put the bluing on, let sit in clorox about 10 min.... take out scrub clean and repeat untill its how you like it. Trust me, seeing your knife engulfed in red rust is a BAD feeling!! It took about an hour to do.
Oh, etch the last time like normal....no bluing paste.

Looks excellent Brian.
Love that wood!
When I declined buying that one, why, oh WHY didn't you talk me into it?

Ha Ha.....It will be off to the guy (MArk Williams) who make KSS1 in about a month. Then I'll be taking this one camping in April.
