Got a flyer in from MSC, it has VR/Wesson Tantung "G" its for tool bits it only comes in 6" lengths thickness 1/8 to 5/8, width 1/2 up to 1 1/4. A 1/8 x 1 x 6 = $37.43. RC 60 to 68. Does anyone know if this is the same as the famous giveaway material????

I believe it is the same stuff, but with different heat treatment/age hardening. MDP would know more........
