Titanium....would a Titanium expandable baton work?

I notice that the bladerigger makes some nice titanium solid rods. Would it work for something like an expandable baton like the ASP? That would be sweet light but hits like a baseball bat. You might have to weight the tip though.

A titanium telescoping baton would work if the metal was tempered correctly and the baton utilized the Taper Lock System used on ASP Batons...I like ASP Batons, but I love these non-telescoping batons as well.

Cost effectivness, in other words... would it be worth the money for a simi custom/custom maker to undergo such a project?
