The Hen, and I got an extremely rare opportunity to hike, together, without the kids. So, we jumped at it. It's part of our new year's resolutions to be more active than we were in 2015. Here's a few shots of features, and Ol' #56.
There were a few doe being released by their mother. It was a surprise when I realized her sneaking off without them. A few minutes later a young buck (not pictured) came through, and nature took its course.
Toward the end of the trail it meets up with a very old road that leads to Marsee Cemetery.
It really was THAT green there. Couldn't have found a more Irish scene in Ireland.
