The Hen, and I got an extremely rare opportunity to hike, together, without the kids. So, we jumped at it. It's part of our new year's resolutions to be more active than we were in 2015. Here's a few shots of features, and Ol' #56.

There were a few doe being released by their mother. It was a surprise when I realized her sneaking off without them. A few minutes later a young buck (not pictured) came through, and nature took its course.

Toward the end of the trail it meets up with a very old road that leads to Marsee Cemetery.

It really was THAT green there. Couldn't have found a more Irish scene in Ireland.

Then we found a railroad where the M-18 got some lens time.

Thanks for coming along.

Good luck on your endeavors to get out more. That's one hell of a green shade. M-18s have a way of finding railroads.

Totally jealous, I wish/want to get out more as well, hopefully 2016 will be a little better fpr me, but they didn't let me out of my cage much this year.

It looks like it was a nice day for a little trip out and about. Man, that green is stark out there. Thanks for the shots for me to enjoy on this rainy Monday stuck indoors.

Thanks, Murph. I'm dead serious about it. I need more camping, hiking, climbing, and kayaking in my life.

You're going to have to set some time aside, man. Just pick a week to say, "it can wait"

It was a good day. A short break from the $hit weather we're having down here. The last two days have sucked. Heard tornados were a possibility up there, though.

And yeah, guys. It was crazy green. That green tradewater would've looked insane out there.

Damnit, Rick.... You jinxed us. We had an EF1 touch down not too far away last night.
