Hi all.
I received this TC earlier this week. it's a real beauty. Scott was more than willing to let me send him scales (rosewood), G10 liners and carbon fiber pins for the handle. and, i'll tell you what....turned out awesome.

it's been a busy week so i haven't been able to get pics. i will post more....this is just kind of a placeholder.

the TC helped me baton through some pine scrap my friend had in her trunk. and, it made quick work making some hot dog sticks, so that we could eat.

here it is lazing by the fire.

my son being a ham and posing for a nice silhouette pic. no bites tonight. but, sometimes fishing is not about catching. beautiful night.

thanks Scott.

i received some knives from a BF friend to try out. so, i took my lot down to the river to compare them all.

this spot is just less than a mile from my house. so, it's not exactly remote, but it's perfect for an evening walk to make a quick escape and feel like your miles away.

here is the view from the bridge downriver. about half the rock you are seeing was covered up 2-3 weeks ago, during the winter runoff. (EDIT: wow. crappy pic. sorry.)

and, this is why. this is the view from the other side of the bridge. this is a fully operational hydro dam that is owned by the local electric company.

the TC isn't just pretty, she's rugged. i found some driftwood to baton. notice the knot on the backside of this pic.

you can see that it went right through. as i mentioned, i had other knives with me. some of them had problems with the knots in this wood. the TC did not.

very impressed. the TC handled the rough stuff very well. it could dig deep to get rid a lot of wood. or, i could control it quite well to do the fine tasks, as well.
