Ultralight kiridashis! These are really handy to have around and are just about weightless! I left these nice and hard at 60-61 Rockwell for great edge retention and at .060" thick (1/16") they really cut well.
I picked 15n20 steel for these as it is a great all around high carbon steel. 15n20 has a bit of Nickle added for extra toughness and a tiny bit of corrosion resistance. It is made for commercial bandsaw blades where they break down whole trees into lumber so the toughness and edge retention is great. 15n20 is the shiny layer you often see in damascus.
I have two styles and will be working on getting pics up all day! These are all just a bit different in size and style.
Everything is stonewashed for a durable finish and features a polished edge. They are all signed as always, the signature is deep yet stealth on these.
The spine, butt, underside and everything but the edge is rounded for comfort. These feel great in the hand!
Kydex is included! I'll throw in some paracord too for necker/static cord/lanyard use. I'll get sheath pics later today once I get the knives up. These have a minimalist lightweight sheath to go with the knives.
