on a diff thread the issue of if buck did the sears knives was settled
now i have a diffreant questions.

Did Buck Knives ever make a knife for/ under other companeys lables
like was done for buck in the case of the slip joints done for them ?
and if so what were they? !?!?!

i ask as there is a posting in which Chuck says of doing some tanto blades for cold steel so i wrote them and have gotten no information that way... yet...

i think i would call such a knife or knives Hidden Buck's and they would be a worthy collection in their own right.
Does any one know or would this be privlaged or condenfental information ?
comments or hijacking of this thread welcome...:D

ho sorry ...NO sears knives looked like bucks a LOT but suttle diffrence make it non inter changle able and they were made by other then buck ...
but it escapes me which company it was ... it was on another forume here at BF..
now were di put mu mime...>?

Off the top of my head I can think of another. Klien tools. We made a 525 for them and the only diference between it and our 525 is the blade stamp. If I remember right, it only says Klien Tools.
We did the model 912 Combat Smatchet for Wells Creek Knife and Gun Works back in the late 1980's?
We did some other interesting fixed blades knives for Cedar creek over 20 years ago...not marked Buck.

hummmm new surch terms to google!!!
