The new TSA standards for an allowable carry-on folding knife are max blade length (tip to hilt) 2.36" (6cm) and max blade width of 1/2".

For those who are knowledge (not me, mine are all 108mm) on the smaller SAK models, which ones meet these standards?

Do you think Victorinox or SwissBianco will start making a TSA-specific model for fliers?

Thanks for your comments and suggestions!

Victorinox 58mm and Wenger 65mm will fit under the 6cm blade length limit.

there are some sak models with no cutting blades that where introduced 2013. no alox as best i see jet and unless we have 100% clear rules then there wont be a specific +B sak. but as long they allow the 85mm sak like ouer alox rambler, minichamp, vagabond, drifter and others be legal and work.

Wouldn't the Vic Executive make the "cut". The large blade is sub 6cm and it has a 2nd blade and scissors. Please make some SwissBianco Mods to this great SAK. Maybe for tools and less "grooming". I would love to see and Alox version.
Thx

I second the alox executive with some tools. Love SAKs but hate there are not more alox options readily available.
