The 4" Hold Out II was such a great knife. Symmetrical handle was comfortable in any grip, and it was extremely light for a 4" blade with a small footprint in the pocket because of the simple handle. The later version in XHP had thinner scales, didn't fill the hand as well but it was even better for pocket comfort and the XHP definately stayed sharp longer.
The new 3" Hold Out III in S35vn is so well made that I bought several of them. The quality is perfect, and it carries perfectly because it is so small, light and flat. The S35VN is ground perfectly and holds an edge well.
It would be great if Cold Steel would start making 4" Hold Outs again. In S35VN it would be an incredible EDC.
