The oil can that came with my mill finaly crapped out and I'm haveing a devel of a time finding a new one. It's for the little ball type oil points on the ways, I think there called zerk fittings?

Any idea where to find them, or do I just need any old pump type oil can with a spout that will depress the ball fitting?

Thanks

Zerk fittings are used for grease guns.

Any spout that's small enough to depress the balls will do.

Doesn't sound like you have Zerk fittings. Follow Don's advice.

Just to complicate matters, there are Zerk fittings that do take oil and not grease though. Bridgeport tables are a famous example of somebody clogging the Way oil lines with grease becasue they saw Zerk fittings.

Many people modify cheap grease guns to use Way oil. I have an actual oil gun made by Alemite.

Thanks, kinda what I figured. It'll make finding a new can easier. Don't know why I want to call them zerk fittings, must be lack of sleep.
