Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in oil. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.

Total Length = 29 ¾ “
Blade Length = 22 “
Blade Width = 2 7/8 “ widest
Blade Thickness = 3/16 “
Handle Length = 7 ¾ ““
Handle Width = 1 ¼ “ center
Handle: White Oak
Weight = 3 lbs

I'm wondering how the slabs are attached, as I don't see any pins?

All our swords and knives are attached with either exposed or hidden pins, and glued. This sword is attached with hidden pins.

I think you're right. I just don't have any paint or stain in that color of green
