Back in the spring there was a bushcrafter knife challenge.
Matt, Chris, and Bill all entered, along with about 20 other makers.
After the competition was over, Matt decided to destruction test a knife.
It took a LOT of abuse before he finally got tired of beating on it, chucked it up in a vise, put a big cheater pipe on it, and leaned on the pipe.
then he got help.
eventually it snapped - and the grain looked good.
I got the leftover to make a razel with almost as a dare.
This is it -- not as pretty as what the Pros here do, but it's sharp.
walnut scales, stainless pins, convex edge, and a ghetto stone-wash finish.
