Not very long ago I bought a ZT 0452CF - mainly because of the looks, blade steel, and it was a ZT (you can't go wrong?). After waiting, what seemed like years, it arrived but I couldn't open it. Couldn't wasn't exactly correct, but it was certainly far harder than any other ZT or Kershaw knife I've handled. I'm pretty sure it was a detent problem so I returned it for one the seller "tried before he shipped" but it was the same. I called Kershaw and they admitted the problem and said to send it to them. They would do "what they could", which usually improved the situation. I did not send it to Kershaw but I returned the knife for a refund - but I would buy one again if ZT fixed the problem. My question is, has ZT done anything to lessen the detent, can Kershaw actually improve the problem, or is it just me?
