Hi Everyone,

I thought you might all like to see the first model from Zu Bladeworx.

The dagger in the pic is only a test model made in mild steel. I should have pics of the final cerakoted models in about 3 weeks. Chris Reeve, via Heather, kindly gave us permission (and wished us well) to use their one piece knife concept.

The first 6 protoypes are all sold out.

First knife off the ranks.

All one piece cnc machined construction.

First 6 Prototypes all made from S7. Production run (probably late this year or early next) steel is TBA (S7, 01, or D2).

6 inch blade
5 inch handle
Blade thickness 0.33 inch
Hollow handle with removable S7 butt cap with built in skull crusher
Weight about 700grams
CNC machined in Sydney
Heat treated to 57-58 RC in Australia
Cerakoted in Australia
Professionally hand sharpened in Australia
Laser engraved in Australia
Handmade thick stock black leather pouch style sheath made in Australia

Please note, these are currently not available for purchase.

All designs Copyright of Zu Bladeworx Australia
Chris Reeve One Piece Concept used with permission and blessing of Chris Reeve Knives.

Forgot about this thread...Here are some pictures of the completed knife.

These are now sold out and discontinued. We have a sword next then we will be moving onto the Scout, which will be the first of our catalogue knives (ie they will be available to purchase) due end of the year or so.
