Scott just finished this little hunter to take to the Blade Show in June. It has an African Blackwood handle, 416 stainless steel guard, and peened nickel silver pin. We're calling it the Zulu. See what you think.

Thanks for looking!

Wow I like the looks of that! Very nice!

Great lines! You've given a beautiful and clean little hunter an aggressive attitude --- I love it.

Looks fantastic! +1 to all of the above comments. I will just add it looks like a super comfy and secure handle, too.

That is the ultimate hunter, good name too.
To all reading this scott will be attending the annual jason knight macro show before the show thursday before blade.

Beautiful knife! That handle does look very comfortable. What did you use to finish it?

Thanks everybody,

I finished the handle to 800 grit and buffed it with 0000 steel wool, then followed up with three coats of danish oil.

I feel privileged to be invited to Jason's soirée. He has been invaluable to me as a mentor.

I really like the lines of this knife. I also think that it would work in different blade lengths too... something to think about.

Great lines and the handle looks as comfortable as can be.

It's a great thing when beauty and ergonomics come together so well.
