Just picked up a 110 again, remember why I love this knife, and it now seems light after using Striders for awhile!

But about the sheath that comes with it, it needs improvement. The stiching and all is ok, but the design is not. It virtually encases the entire knife, making it hard to draw it out without spending some time on it. If that was fixed I think it would be just about perfect.

Hi! what about a custom opentop sheath from G2 or Lifter?

I was thinking about that, but if I get a leather one then I have to be prepared to polish the brass, wereas with this sheath I dont because there is no leather corrosion of the brass.

I may be misguided, but good leather shouldnt damage the brass, especially if you're not storing the knife for a long period. I believe it's ordinary oxidation that dulls the brass. I have to clean my 110's that are on display once in a while.
