I had a Camillus Mark 2 gifted to me several years ago.

The Camillus remained my one and only collectable knife until I recently came down with an uncontrollable urge to get another WW2 fighting knife, and I obtained this PAL RH 36 on eBay--My first collectable knife purchase:

Not knowing nothing, I asked the experienced seller if $150 would be a good price for this knife. He said yes, I believed him, bid $150, and got it for about $140.
Did I get the Good, the Bad or the Ugly?

Would the next knife in a logical progression be a Mark 3?

$140 would be high side of average, but it's in nice shape, and if you're happy that's what counts. For your next, an M-3 Trench knife, Navy Mk I, or Case or Cattaraugus "Q" knife would be the logical WWII common models. You might want to be careful before you go for a M-3, but the other 2 are pretty safe.

Float around here, and www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/forum/8-edged-weapons/ , there are lots of ways you can go collecting military knives.
