Utilitarian #1

4" blade in hand rubbed N678 (stainless steel similar to AUS8)
8 1/2" Overall lenght (4mm thickness)
Guard in stainless steel. Handle slabs are Jacaranda wood.
Full tang with home made decorated pins.

10" Overall lenght (4mm thickness)
Guard, buttcap and fittings in nickel silver. Handle in guayubira wood.
Full tang with home made decorated pins.

I like the way you approach each knife as an individual piece. They each have ther own character.
 
I like that thumbridge filework on #1...looks nicer than a simple ridge set, but it's probably more comfortable (won't take the skin of your thumb) while still providing a little needed grip. I've been looking for what to do with a knife I'm working on (knife #2, I'm doing my first one first, then this one later once I've figured out the learning curve a big), keeping it simple, good-looking but functional w/o needing a 1/4" calais to use it.

Great lookin knives, look forward to seeing more.

I like them both, but that second one really gets me. I like the butt cap and the laynard ring.
