Nice stuff, but two questions:

How is the Sculptura opened exactly?

What will be the approximate price range for the non-serrated Visions?

Thanks.

Hi Guys,

The Sculptura, with the of use of the silky-smooth Arc-Lock, opens by pinching the spine of the blade and pulling it out. Also available to those familiar is the technique of holding the lock pin back and flinging the blade out (and conversely, back in to close the knife).

Relative to the Mini X-Ray Vision, the production model will come partially serrated. The photo is of prototype knives. A price has not yet been set for this model.

But there will be a non-serrated large Vision, right? Or is that still just rumor/hearsay/conjecture?

Hi Fmann,

It is just "rumor/hearsay/conjecture" that SOG will put any of the large Visions into regular production in non-serrated models. BUT, SOG did produce a small number of Visions, Night Visions, and X-Ray Visions in straight blades. Several are still available. If interested, email me.

Ron,

Any chances that something non-tanto will fall into SOG's vision in observable future?
I do like the arc-lock mechanism and BG-42 steel in your blades, but since I don't punch holes in those steel drums most of the day I kindda prefer more conventional blade shapes, I think some folks around would share the same opinion. Sergiusz once did some drawings and IMHO those looked very cool

How about an experiment for SOG, let's say 1000 Visions with clip or donno may be spear points? And preferably in BG-42...
For those knife users who prefer cutting over hole punching

P.S. Not that I intend to diminish the importancy of steel drum perforation, just there are some other tasks for knives
