Ron:

The Scuba looks great. Nice double edge. I take it will have a stainless blade? Price will be similar to others in line?

Mr. Anderson;
What steel and Rc will the blade be on the Scuba? What will the MSRP be? What does the sheath look like? Finally, will the sheath be ambidextrous? Thanks in advance

Hi Fudo,

Great questions. The steel will be AUS8 at Rc 57-58. MSRP $230. The sheath is will be similar to that on the SOG Bowie which contains a sharpening stone. It should be able to be placed either way in the sheath, but the restraining strap goes goes diagonally across one side of the hilt.

I am allready looking forward to recieving the Scuba.
The Recon Bowie is a great knife, but I think that the Scuba will be even better.

Why did you call it Scuba??

Jon, I have not received our production schedule yet for the year. I would guess spring or summer.

Snowman, the name "Scuba/Demo" is the name used by CISO in Vietnam for their knife. Thirty-nine of these original knives were made for SOG's Naval Advisory Detachment (NAD) for missions against the North Vietnamese coastline. Only one of the originals are known to currently exist.
