This is a hard one to let go, but I believe it’s time. I got this TC 151113 from BigBiscuit Bob when I first got the traditional bug. Bob got it straight from Charlie with no tube, and sent it in a mismatched tube which I will include. (I still have the PM exchange on this if it matters.)
I believe this is called Saddle Brown. I carried it some when I first got it, and sharpened it once as best I can recall. It’s in really nice shape, with just a little bit of patina and a couple of light pepper spots on the back spring.
There is one hairline crack in the bone above the top pin (see pictures). The centering is not perfect, but the snappy action is.
