I guess I will have to get my $15 Marbles Chinesium Cattle knife and hold it while closing my eyes fantasizing about GEC greatness

If you are willing to pay a premium you should be able to get your hands on a cattle knife on the big auction site (if desperate) or on the forum marketplace (best option). The gec game is stupid and the premium price stings, but if you really want a 35 cattle the premium price is better than missing out completely, and they will only be more expensive later.

I might have missed out on this run of 35s since I was stuck in a meeting when mike's reserve telegram went out. Still hoping I get lucky on one of the dealer drops as I'd really love to get one of those camp and tool knives. The 35s are one of my favorite GEC patterns and I'm really trying build up the scout collection. The scout pattern is a very useful daily carry.

mine landed today. I have one word….wow. This thing is awesome. My first cattle knife. Stout pulls. Stroped the blades, flushed the joints and it’s gonna go out into the wild tomorrow!

Well executed GEC. Like the Texdel black. They don't look cheap at all. Solid build on this one. Great tube art. Feels nostalgic to a time when I was a kid in the sixties.

Almost passed on the cattle knife in hopes of a camp knife but I’m glad I didn’t. This is one of the nicest GEC’s I’ve gotten in a while.

They were delicious. Seared on the hot stone in their own fat, and dipped in some salt or soy sauce.
