Something interesting I just noticed looking at the pictures on C. Risner Cutlery; my 32 has one brass liner on each side, the ones on C. Risner Cutlery have two liners on the show side.

Yeah it does a little bit. Perhaps they added a cutout liner part way through the run.

Mine has 2 liners on the show side. Perhaps yours has some extra value being that it escaped missing one.

Presumably to give a bit more space to prevent blade rub? Makes sense but im not certain

But they are stacked with each other on one side, how can it prevent blade rub?

The inside liner is cut to the shape of the blade well, essentially expanding the blade well.

My Coco has the tiny sliver of liner stacked inside the mark side liner (expanding the well as noted above) but my Agate ESPL does not.

Wonder if they decided during production to modify the build?

Tough to get photos of something like this, but here ya go on the extra liner/added blade well. It gives the clip blade a well to rest in, giving it an extra mm or so of space from the pen blade.

The only other single spring multi-blade knife I have is a 62. They did it on the pen blade side - pile side. This one is dual purpose though as the inside liner gives the well space and the outside one provides extra stability for the EO notch (I presume that’s the intent).
