Have you tried that yet? If so, tell us how well it works. I found it on Amazon's site item #B079D3XGKX

Search for Scotch Spray Mount.
It's made for repositioning photos but works great on the disc and very clean.

I had a can of 3M feathering mount adhesive on order and after some delay, I today recieved a can of 3M Spray mount Scotch.

I don't have a disk grinder but I use it to glue sandpaper to flat granite. It works well good for this. It stays put when I put pressure on it and can be peeled away without the paper tearing.

Man, I’m missing the feathering adhesive on my 9” disc.

On my 12” disc I use PSA. What works best for me is to spray the disc down with wd-40 and then wipe the majority off. The PSA discs hold well enough to stay on the disc, but are able to be removed without any residue.

I think I picked that tip up here on the forums, and I wish I could remember who I got it from so I could give credit.

I'll use feathering adhesive for my hand sanding tools every now and then

I have about 5 older tubes of feathering adhesive. Used it once or twice but never liked it, personally. I just use a can of general purpose spray adhesive and it works just fine.. Carb and choke cleaner will release the adhesive if it is resisting removal and cleans up the disk nicely afterwards.
