5464HH compliment and question

Sir,

I have recently purchased a Boker Congress 5464HH and wanted to compliment Boker on producing such a fine knife. The stag handles are wonderful and the knife steel sharpened up like nothing I have seen in a long time.

A question though. Did this knife come with 440C stainless? I know almost all of the other Boker stag stainless models did but I am not sure on this one. I do know that this steel took an edge and polished up very well.

Well,I'm glad to hear you like it.
As far as I know,and all the one's I have here,they are carbon
steel.
If you do have one with a tang stamp that says stainless,it is 440C.
I just don't have anymore of those here,so that's the best I can tell you.

Thank you. I am sure it is stainless, and it is marked so, I just didn't know what grade of stainless was used. This was the only Boker at Russell that didn't say which grade was used. Go figure.

I appreciate the response. Think I might pick up one of the other models since I like this one so much.
