8000 grit/3 micron DMT stone!

HH:

I paid $61.99 for mine plus free shipping...are we talking the same stone here, the DMT D8EE?

Holy catfish, that price jumped $18.00 since yesterday!

I guess timing is everything, at least this time...:D

I still would have purchased the stone, however, that's a big jump -- I wonder why he did that besides making a bit more profit? Could he have priced it wrong in the first place?

Hmmmm...

Well the retail price is $89.99

But Larrin...

We're effetists. We always get more than anyone would ever need and we always strive to not pay the MSRP.

I'm just a bit bugged if they raised the price due to getting a handful of orders quickly and trying to capitalize. Sure, it may be smart, but be smart after I make my order.

price is back down

I just ordered the ultra fine spyderco, so now I don't know if this would be redundant.

I agree, but just ordered the XX and EE, hopefully at least I'll save on shipping. Can't wait to try them out!

Go to a local beauty supply store.

They sell 4000 grit emory files that are perfect for final polishing and they are only about a buck a piece.

D8EE certified flat within tight tolerances containing diamond instead of AlOx as its abrasive: $62-100.

Not going to a beauty supply shop: Priceless. :p

Seriously, though, thanks for the heads-up. I think a new EdgePro idea is brewing.
