A “Perfect” Umnumzaan

My favorite knife of all time made even more perfect with a well textured Shepherd CF scale and CRK Hawk clip. Light in pocket, excellent in hand, and no hot spots with the easy on fabric low profile clip.

I've looked at, but never tried, the CRK Hawk clip. Maybe one of these days.

Thanks for the reminder - I got an Umnum' tanto about 10 months ago. Factory fresh, it was loaded with so much gunk you could feel there grittiness on open and close. I gave it a good cleaning and, somewhat annoyed, boxed & stashed it. I guess I hadn't entirely forgotten about it; but I don't think I gave it another thought after the box hit the shelf. Guess I should take that out this weekend and think about making a decision.

Negative on the backspacer, one of the things that is best about the Umnum is the shear lack of unnecessary parts.

I’m with you, the design takes breaking in and getting used to but man… once it’s broken in it’s outstanding.
