My great uncle gave this to me today as I was helping him clean and organize his barn/outbuilding. It appears to me to be either 12 or 14 kt gold as it was not brass tarnished at all and was sitting out in a unheated barn for probably 30-40 years. I cleaned it up a bit for the pics with some blitz. It appears to be a medallion that is worn on a chain as jewelry, which also leads me to believe that it's gold. There are no stamps or Maker's Mark anywhere. Any info is appreciated, I'm not asking for value in any way.

The coin claw is a Serge Panchenko. It has a CPM S-35-VN blade and a handle utilizing Titanium, Carbon fiber, and Timascus.
Karat Gold knives are usually marked. 14kt is the same as .585 fine Gold. 14 divided by 24 equals 58.5%.

At first when I noticed the stampings on the clasp, I thought it might be marked as 14 kt, but no. Kreisler also apparently makes watches as well.
