All I can say right now is that it is probably from the Tausug tribe and in their language is known as Kalis Taluseko. It is possibly between 1880-1930, but I do not yet have the piece in hand so I cant cant tell for sure. The fittings are supposed to be silver, and most likely this piece was for one of the upper class. I am eagerly awaiting its arrival.
